Being right

I'm perplexed at the extent people go to when they think they are right. Why are people in Christian Fellowship willing to sacrifice everything such as: relationship with family, friends, happiness, finances, independent thought, experiencing beauty, career, and anything else normal people see as im...

Re: Recent teachings

After the tirade BCF heard yesterday, members should be asking questions. It's crucial to consider this carefully. Those who've been in BCF for the whole or most of their lives may think this behaviour is normal. But take a pause and think about it. If a genuine Christian from another church came t...

Re: Murray Wylie's Music (was awesome)

I have never heard that Vic composes music, nor does he have musical talent like his brother David. However, he has provided inspiration on certain topics for others to write music about. I'm wondering if the 7 blessings was one example. I can see they meant well with that one, but they didn't have ...

Coercive Control is a Crime in QLD from 2025

Queensland will criminalise coercive control by 2025, with penalties of up to 14 years in prison. While the laws focus on personal relationships, similar tactics of fear, isolation, and manipulation are common in religious groups. What is tolerated under the guise of religious freedom may soon fall ...

Re: Murray Wylie's Music (was awesome)

Did Victor Hall have any part or make any contribution to The Jerusalem Passion? The music is beautiful. And the words on the surface sound biblical, just like some of xCFs sermons. However, is The Jerusalem Passion, an example of the 1980s / 1990s 'wolf in sheeps clothing' which drew and deceived p...

Re: Murray Wylie's Music (was awesome)

Murray's tunes/songs were excellent and were loved by thousands of people. We are very blessed to have had him in our generation. However, Vic Hall likes to retire anyone who is doing a worthwhile job in the body of christ; many, many people gave ALL of their talents, gifts and knowledge of the Word...

Re: Recent teachings

My Question - Can someone please explain by a scripture how BCF justifies that their presbytery are the head of every man? ... I don't think it says anywhere that the church or the church leadership is the head of every man. I think they shoehorn 1 Jn 1:1-4 in there and say, "John could say th...
