Re: THE HERESY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP SALVATION TEACHINGS
Thank you Faith for your very enlightening words which brought back vivid memories of the many times I heard that 'phrase' used from the pulpit by those preaching at BCF. The most amazing thing i found, is that we actually let that fear hold us back, and stopped us thinking for ourselves. When my wi...

Re: Remembering Broken Families
Thank you Faith, for your thoughts and encouragement. They are as ever relevant today, as when I walked away 16 years ago. The gossip and the lies that have destroyed so many families, have not gone unnoticed, and will be shouted from the rooftops, in the last days.

Re: The Heresy of the Christian Fellowship and Pope Vic Halls' teachings.
I have just come across this article on the Internet, which clearly shows how the Scriptures have been manipulated and re-arranged over the centuries. Maybe we can add the heresies of BCF to the list - I'm sure mainstream Christianity would be just as shocked to see the heresies of Swampford... http...

Re: ACNC UPDATE
Wondering how these new 'Regulations' from the ACNC might affect BCF/XCF's. Interesting that they are being asked to provide extra info. Is this an indication that Government is 'tightening' the screws.....

Re: The Heresy of the Christian Fellowship and Pope Vic Halls' teachings.
2. The Elders and congregation of the Christian Fellowship separate themselves on their own authority - they do not relate to any other church and they to no allow a critical examination of their "special revelation/present word teachings". They do not mix with any other christians and an...

Re: What do YOU think is CORRECT (& not well acknowledged by others) in the MCF/BCF teachings/culture?
Thank you Wendy for your thoughts here. Yes, I can concur with you regarding those ESCHATOLOGICAL teachings being another avenue of the hierarchy to prove that they had the 'revelations' that the plebs could'nt understand. It was really another form of CONTROL whereby they could keep you in a place ...

Re: How unique is BCF/MCF's brand of cultishness (especially the last 25 Vic Hall years)?
We need to keep telling our story because there are still people in the Christian Fellowship groups of churches who are under Vic's cobra like spell. Hundreds have seen the light and have left but yet there are still more who we have to reach out to. Thank you Faith for this encouragement, because ...

Re: How unique is BCF/MCF's brand of cultishness (especially the last 25 Vic Hall years)?
I also was curious about the address in Groucho Place. That is not a cheap address. It would indicate some substantial coin was retained from swamp city living. [/i] Groucho Place is actually in the Brisbane suburb of McDowall. Murray & Kate were living there before Swampford got going. A lot o...

Re: How unique is BCF/MCF's brand of cultishness (especially the last 25 Vic Hall years)?
BCF has a long history of cutting people loose under dubious circumstances when it suited them (Vic) best. Very true Faith, in fact they will nearly all be of Pension Age now (Bill Barnes probably well into his 70's now), so Vic deals very efficiently with the issue by flicking them off to Centreli...
