I believe the rare frog was the Samford Long Nosed Swamp Frog :)

It was later joined by another Swamp Dweller who also had a long nose like Pinnochio !!

Thank you so much Paul and Bagel, for sharing your thoughts above. Paul your observations are spot on. Bagel, you had me chuckling with laughter at your turn of phrase, particularly the part where you said "A few executions in the street were all that was needed to keep the peasants from revolt...

Thanks Paul. your first post above really focuses in on the issues. From my time at BCF I can only agree with your analysis. EVERYTHING that Vic Hall preaches and disseminates is totally focused on control in every aspect in a persons life. From what I can understand, this manipulation has not relen...

Re: Gnosticism

Thanks Bagel. Your observation about exclusivity framing formal scholarship as dead works is very very true. I remember hearing numerous BCF leaders and also business people opening mocking formal theological training and seminaries as "cemeteries", thus discounting any and all teaching th...

Gnosticism

One thing to be aware of with the teachings of the Christian Fellowship group of churches is their focus on the teaching of "Gods Administration" and "present word". Gnosticism is defined as "a variety of second-century AD religions whose participants believed that people co...

Re: Vic Hall and Order of Melchizedek

Wendy, I think you have summed it up pretty well. A bit of diligent research and theological study by any concerned people will quickly reveal that the majority of the CF teaching definitions and variations by Jackson and Hall are revealed as dangerous. When you combine teachings that are in error w...

Re: Vic Hall and Order of Melchizedek

Thanks for your comments Bagel and Robocop. Bagel, I think you have summed up the activities of BCF pretty well. Maybe once, a long time ago, they may have have a desire to see the Word preached but not now. BCF is a toxic cesspool of unhealthy groupthink behaviour. I agree with Robocop - BCF is not...

Re: Vic Hall and Order of Melchizedek

Thanks to Paul and Wendy for the feedback. I had forgotten about the book "the Ephesian Pattern". I can see the validity of Pauls comments about the scripture, it certainly is there in the bible and there is no doubt that Christ wants a spotless bride. And I think Pauls 1,2 & 3 points ...

Vic Hall and Order of Melchizedek

A key foundational teaching of Vic Hall and the Christian Fellowship group is their repeated references and fixation on the “The Order of Melchizedek.” In the bible there are several references to Melchizedek: Genesis 14:18 &20 where Melchizedek blessed Abraham and Abraham paid a tithe to Melchi...

Re: Easter at Brisbane Christian Fellowship

Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane Robocop. Who can forget being so povo that we struggled to pay for the fuel for all the travel to Chandler, were totally exhausted after the "Easter Break" and were robbed of time with our families. I remember life just flashing by me in numb exhaustion...
