National redress Scheme

Post by guest »

This is a sensitive topic so I apologise to anyone this impacts.

The national redress scheme is about recognising the harm done to people who experienced sexual abuse as children and holding the institutions responsible to account.

It is about victims of sexual abuse getting compensation from their abusers not necessarily about going through the court system and getting criminal charges pressed, that is another process.

Brisbane Christian Fellowship is listed as a registered organisation. As far as I can see none of the affiliated branches have registered such as MCF, SCF or any of the others. However "Restoration Fellowships" is listed in every state but I don't know if that if RFI or some other group

If you or anyone you know has been harmed by BCF or any of its affiliations please go on the website and see what is available to you.

Love and Blessing

Big question as to why MCF and other compounds around Australia don’t want to sign up to the Redress register? Most likely they don’t want to end up cashless….MCF follows everything BCF does, says, acts etc… why not this time?
